This is bad. As in the opposite of good.

Axios said that Rosenstein told Kelly he would resign. CNN reports that Rosenstein expects to be fired. Rosenstein hasn’t resigned. Kelly told him he would prefer if he resigned, with the implicit threat that Trump will fire him. Kelly didn’t get the response he wanted, so he pushed this story to Axios to force the issue. Stay tuned. If Rosenstein does nothing, it will be on Trump to pull the trigger, something which he has failed to do many times in the past.

I hope Mueller sends out lots of stuff to state AGs today…

Does it not mean that Mueller led investigation is now in trouble?

I don’t understand why they resign instead of wait to be fired. I’t not like he’s worried about how it looks on his resume. He should just wait for the tweet.

Trump pressed on whether he'll fire Rosenstein: "I don't want to comment on it until I get all the facts. I haven't gotten all the facts...I'll make a determination sometime later. But I don't have all the facts."

I hope it works out that way.

Fat Nixon is a chicken shit, but this is serious.

Probably but we’ll see. We thought the firing of Comey was bad too and we gott Mueller.

But I’ll admit my first thought was, “Oh fuck.”

And here…we…go!

Game Over.

Trump was holding his firing for a moment of maximum deflection from what is happening to Kavanaugh. At least Rosenstein will not now be a patsy for that devious play.

Meaning what?

But given how McCabe (and others?) lost his pension by being fired, Rosenstein may have good reason to resign.

There are conflicting reports. I won’t be getting much work done today.
