Discussion: Report: Republican Party Accepted Large Donation From Steve Wynn In April

Nevada is an “at-will” employment State.

Ergo, if they didn’t want to give him freebies on the side, they were free to leave, and he was free to retaliate!

Who needs workplace protections anyway?

The GOP is just a black market for power. It’s going to be a lot less work to just publish the receipts.

Maybe set up a webcam in front of the cash register at US Govt Policy “R” US.

Because who wouldnt want to give it up to Steve Wynn 20 years after this picture?

He did some interesting things in Vegas. Changed the entire sense of the city. My opinion, the strip you see today was largely due to his hand. Everyone followed behind him. However, time, money and age seems to have corrupted and drained all of that out of him.

GOPee: Clearly that is the face of an innocent man, $teve’s money is good.

Another Vegas, Dorian Grey, plasticized Trumper.

Everyone knows how un-American and immoral the GOPers are! Hell, they have willingly selected Trump as their leader. And we know how Trump has spent his life. So the GOPers taking donations from this scum bag is hardly news!

Yep, that’s how it works in my state (Virginia) as well. Because you’ve got to be “pro-business,” you know.

My opinion? He ruined the Strip. Have you seen the people who actually go to that city now?

Always the same Joker smile in these cases (see, for example, Meg Ryan). I don’t know why they think it looks good.

Maybe he doesn’t know he made the donation. He can’t see anymore.

Not sure if I can argue that at all. We do not visit the main strip. The people are one issue. But the refocus over the last ten years or so seem to be excluding a more middle range and middle age visitor. It is no longer quirky and interesting. One venue is just like another. We keep wavering on not going but still have places we do like elsewhere including Fremont. But not on the strip. I am not interested in ultra lounge bottle service clubs or contrived “fine” dining. But that seems to be the image they want stomping about. I think Wynn and the others had a sweet spot and then soaked it into the ground. MGM definitely had a hand in removing the feel as well as they bought everything in sight. Oh well.

When I first went there - giving away my age - people dressed to the nines and there were actually dinner shows with big names. If you wanted a good seat you’d slip the maitre’d a $20. (They always walked in front of you with their hands behind their back and were all named Tony - last name ended in a vowel). Now it’s like Disneyland in the desert.

Two different eras heh. I missed that time. Heard a lot of people talk about it. I like the more Disneyland aspect but it suited what I was looking for in terms of a complete disconnect. But even that is dying off by design. Main strip just seems to be mobs of people trying to figure out where they want to go, drunk and oblivious due to what I call the casino stare. And there is so much more that has gone off the rails.

That man needs a damn tax cut. I don’t know how he gets by.

Please. Tell him we’ll pay his share of the troop’s armor.

Yeah. Because.

Sexual misconduct. What’s that?

And by the way, liberals, doctors and women are all fetus-murderers. So there!

Is there a criminal investigation of the accusations against him? I am guessing it’s a down payment on the future pardon cost.

Who cares, the GOP would suck dollar bills out of satan’s fiery asshole if they had to.
