Shit. Thatâs definitely the Neo-cons and the Bush Crime Family trying to reposition for return to dominance in post-Trump GOP apocalypse.
Shit.
In the age of Trump this is, sadly, a vast improvement.
I donât think this is beholden too. She needs to peel off conservatives to create a broad coalition to get anything done. It is however horrible optics going into the convention and bears careful watching as she builds her advisory team.
Why would his appearance at a fund-raiser make Hilllary beholden to him?
Be very specific, and provide proof to support your witless supposition.
Sec. Clinton has her own strong Neo-Con policy positions; she likely wonât be beholden to them because she will agree with them.
If Sec. Clinton thinks this country will accept a more activist military, especially in the Middle East, IMO, she will be returning the country to the past instead of leading it into the future.
Agreed. What I personally hope is that Hillaryâwho, like her or not, is an exceptionally canny strategist (not campaigner)ârealizes that the nation is very different vis-a-vis foreign wars than the 1990s. Unlike Bill, I think Hillary learned a lot from that experience, and from her time as Sec. State.
Still hate to see Kaganâs mug anywhere near her, however.
I am not at all convinced that endorsement from neocons will be a benefit to Hillaryâs campaign. For every neocon gained, there will likely be progressives lost. Hillary needs to say thanks for the vote but no thanks for the endorsement from the Kagan types.
You know, it is almost SOP for a politician to promise something to voters and then not deliver.
Why canât it be SOP for politicians to promise something to big donors and not deliver?
âIf you canât eat their food, drink their booze, screw their women, take their money and then vote against them youâve got no business being up here.â

Remember the âSurgeâ. His idea I think.
and you were doing so wellâŚ
Because, as Molly Ivins was wont to point out, âYou got to dance with them that brung you.â
How I miss her so. Imagine what sheâd be saying about Drumpf!
After we elect her, we need to hold her accountable. Her foreign policy approach has always been the riskiest thing about her- not the Wall Street stuff Bernie was spouting.
Robert Kagan, a neoconservative commentator and a vocal supporter of President George W. Bushâs invasion of Iraq, will speak at a fundraiser for Hillary Clintonâs campaign next month, according to Foreign Policy.
Iâm for as much inclusiveness as the next guy, but there really needs to be a guest list in regards to this âpartyâ.
For safety sakeâŚ
thatâs my fear as well
Collin Powell is one thing, but if I see Richard Perleâs name on any future Clinton guest listâŚ
Donald Rumsfeld may want to reconsider whether he supports his known knowns. Clearly the Republicans will be able to fill the gap that FDR Democrats cannot.
Name themâand give examples.
Otherwise, admit you made it up because you just donât like her.
one of the Jewish Neo-Con Cabal
I am wondering why the bigot who calls himself wagonmound thinks the neoconâs ethnicity is relevant to this conversation.
