This is North Carolina’s 9th writ large. We need a do-over of the 2016 election!
It’s comforting to be reminded that 30% or so of the American public is so closely aligned with or so easily duped by the despotic, murderous, anti-U.S., authoritarian, former KGB agent led Russian government.
The committee plans to release the report later this week, but hasn’t yet said whether it backs the researchers conclusions.
If it doesn’t, that would be one more layer of disinformation.
Most people commonly referred to as being “minorities” are fully cognizant of this. Trump voters are a minority, but do not think that is true.
Maybe it has to do with the undue attention placed on them by society in general and by the representative distortion of the United States Senate, which is involved with this report. If there actually was proportionate Senate representation of the population, this report would have been issued in half the time and with many times more useful information.
Until Senate crooks are brought to justice, the Senate IS TRump.
It is almost as if Social Media was designed to support the effort.
Going to be tough to spin this one with “sow discord” and “interfere with our democracy” BS. The goal was to elect Trump. We’ve had to wade through two years of GOP’er bullshit to get to what we always knew was the case. But here it is. Russia surveyed the American political system and like any saboteur looked for the weak spot. I don’t imagine it took them long to see that being the American GOP’ers addiction to bullshit that makes them feel good. So they fed it to them.
The holier than thou “real Americans” were duped by Russia. Their GOP"er heroes, flag lapel pins and all, were hooked up with America’s chief nemesis and adversary. And we all got a Manchurian candidate from Queens. They must be laughing their asses off in Moscow.
…and yet Trump will continue to tweet it’s not true and even if it is true it was all for HILLARY because he was elected 'fair and square and there is no collusion…oh yeah.
From my experience, it has to do with perspective. I live deep in Trump territory. I would feel like Trump supporters were a majority if my only perspective is the people around me or Facebook friends. However, I realize there is a much bigger world, having lived in four states before moving to rural Kentucky.

Some solace can be found in the fact that even with the all-out, nothing-spared effort by Russia, Wikileaks, the NRA, Fox News and other right-wing propagandist organizations to steal the election for Trump, he only stole it by a measly 77,000 votes in rust belt states (enough to give him the electoral college). The point being, despite all that massive concerted collusion, Trump lost the popular vote by 3 million. There is absolutely no way the GOP should prevail in 2020 (Senate/POTUS). The fact that Ted “Spineless” Cruz only beat Beto by 3 percentage points is also a huge indicator of how broken and weak the GOP is.
Will be downplayed until dems get the House … when the excrement starts hitting the ocillating blades…next month

Please allow me a presumption. They won’t.
They don’t even know who leads the Russian Federation.
All they know is that Trump makes Democrats sad and angry. and that he kept Hillary out of the White House.
And that’s all they care about, and they will love him forever for it.
