One of the special treats I hope to enjoy election night is watching Gov. Pat McCrory and the GOP team suffer defeat. Between draconian Voter ID laws, attempts to gerrymander the entire state, taking control of the state’s higher education system, ignoring the depredations of companies like Duke Power, and the godawful HB2 and its multi-pronged efforts to deny rights to large swaths of the state’s citizens, these folks deserve to lose…and hopefully big time. And they can take Art Pope with them.
