Discussion: Report: NYC Subway Riders Confront Cop Who Assaulted Conductor

Discussion for article #231631

This kind of stuff will just keep happening, folks. The cops simply don’t give a fuck. They know they can get away with it and they are rubbing that fact in our faces.

We are not a free country anymore.

Yup… and to all the white people out there who defend this behavior, soon enough they’ll become emboldened enough to beat or choke anyone, no matter the color of their skin.

How dare the subway riders disrespect this heroic police officer. De Blasio has more blood on his hands.

Did just the dirty cop run away or did all the guys with guns run too?

In the comments in the article (before they knew it was a cop) it was commented that he looked like the suspect that had randomly attacked another woman the week before.

I’d like to see what his complaint file looks like. At least it’s not Ferguson, so they keep track…

I honestly believe you’re right about that. At this point, the NYPD really doesn’t care anymore about being seen as protecting and serving ANYONE in this city who isn’t making six figures. It’s just becoming more obvious with each month.

Fuckin thug. One good outcome of the ubiquitous security cams and smart phones–this kind of bullshit can get captured Bad timing for DiBlasio, but he can use it to undercut NYPD Union bullshit.

Bullshit like this makes mental cases on the edge think it’s OK to kill cops in retaliation…

…which makes the scumbags inside of The Establishment who cheer for the Security State smile and chuckle.

That’s absolutely correct.

Have we heard from the very brave and heroic Patrick Lynch on this, or is he still too busy plotting ways to give the public a giant FU?

Well… only if we can make a credible claim that our lives were in danger, if we can say things like “He/she was black! Scary! Really blackety-black black!” And maybe that he/she was resisting our effort to kill him or her. Or that his or her cell phone really really looked like a Glock. Because… Freedom! Or something.

I hope the Transport Workers Union Local 100 shows the Police Malevolent Association where the bear shits in the buckwheat, and what real Union power should truly be about.

Check the smile as he passes through the turnstile.

Haven’t the police any self-awareness? This behavior is never acceptable, obviously, but it seems especially bold and egregious at a time when PDs are on serious defense. It goes to show just how out of control and drunk with power PDs have become that they can’t even quiet their abusive urges at a time when doing so could save their lives.

No, don’t you understand. It’s a lone individual who did something wrong. You can’t paint with a broad brush a whole group of people just because of a few bad apples.

Now, let’s stop this blaming of police and talk about the real problem, black on black crime, hoodies, rap music… /snark off

SInce 9/11 Plucky, the NYPD pretty much has promoted themselves to “God”.

Everything they do is right, nothing bad that involves them is actually bad, and it’s always your fault.
