Discussion: Report: No Big Five News Networks Want Spicer Because Of ‘Lack Of Credibility’

Frankly, I’m surprised.

If Corey Lewandowski can get a contract from CNN, why not Spicer? Well, I mean I know ‘why not’ in a world in which decency and credibility matters, but again Corey Lewandowski.

And of course, I thought Fox News took anyone.

Spicer would make a great toll-taker at a minor bridge. “Hey, don’t I know you from somewhere?”

It would restore some of my faith in our society if Sean Spicer does not get to cash in.

It strikes me that if Spicer can’t get a job post-administration then Sarah Sanders won’t even be able to do unpaid charity work. He’s awful, but she manages to be much worse.

This reminds me SO much of Gonzo trying to get hired it’s not funny.

Lewandowski was in the right place (he’s not a WH employee) and at the right time (those surrogates were on the top of CNN’s hiring list).

If ya wanna find a bright spot, Conway is destined to have the same fate, only hers will likely be at bullet train like speed.

Fox News refusing to hire someone for lack of credibility? The station who’s number one show was the one of the biggest liars before they fired him for sexual harassment?

After Lewandowski, I’m amazed no one hired him. Networks are like football fans with season tickets. They threaten all kinds of stuff but when the fall comes, their butts are right where the owners want them.

The only thing these collaborators deserve is a public head-shaving once the Nazis are removed from power.

I’m surprised too. But any bad argument you could make for hiring Spicer would bump up against the fact that he’s famous solely for being an outrageous and querulous liar. He climbed into his own career coffin and SNL nailed it shut. Let him not be the last, Oh Lord of Vengeance.

Since he left the White House, Spicer has been seeking a contributor position at one of the networks, but executives “won’t touch him,” an executive familiar with the conversations told NBC.

Some have considered bringing Spicer on the air for “round tables,” but a contract “is not happening,” the executive said.

Ruth wanted desperately to become a manager; unfortunately, no one was interested. He was offered a minor league job managing a Yankee farm team in Newark, but he turned it down: “I’m a big leaguer!” According to his wife, Claire, the Babe never stopped waiting and watching and hoping for the phone to ring with a call for that managing offer he wanted so badly.

Why use him when you can just get Melissa McCarthy to do his shtick for him?

If shills for the Worst Administration Ever eventually get the point that their willingness to say whatever the Administration wants them to say is likely to destroy their future career,s it may make some of them think twice before agreeing to serve a mouthpiece for the Liar-in-Chief. It was refreshing when Morning Joe refused to showcase Kellyanne Conway any more because she lied so much. And it is pleasant to see less of her on the air.

Wow! Who’d’a thunk it? Lying and deceit ruin your reputation and make it harder to find a job…

It’s a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world except for Lola.

I’m guessing they don’t want him because he seemed like an idiot because he is one.

Spicer’s problem here is this: no one believes he’s psycho. Lewandowski is a nutcase, which equals good TV. Spicer simply lied because that was the job.
