Snark aside, tRump’s immigration ‘plan’ has never been about deporting the 11 million people who are here illegally or building a wall to keep people from coming across our southern border. tRump’s businesses and a lot of other businesses (food service, construction, etc.) depend on cheap, undocumented labor - tRump knows this as well as anybody. If anything, tRump’s ‘plan’ is intended to push the 11 million further into the shadows and to make them easier to exploit. This obviously hurts the 11 million, but it is also devastating to working class American citizens whose wages are depressed by the exploitation of undocumented labor. This is just another example of the Repugnant party using racist/xenophobic rhetoric to get working class whites to vote against their economic interests.

I think it was on Chris Hayes where a reporter detailed the terrible treatment of Polish construction workers who razed the building where Trump Towers now stands. The report said these men were paid with alcohol, or paid $5 an hour if they were even paid at all. If they dared complain they were threatened with deportation.
