Discussion for article #227983
Imagine how horrible you’d have to be to be banned from Walmart.
What a Pulitzer-worthy piece of journalism.
I’ve been thrown in to better places.
Whatever actually happened here, it is just dumbfounding that we have to accept the casual inclusion of guns in every aspect of our lives. This time, it’s guns and oil changes.
Why is TPM hiding that one of them was named SteveBob?
And the other, his brother/father, is named BobSteve
Either way, it’s guaranteed that there are four first names among the two of them.
Threatening to shoot people is now legal?
I know threatening the President is actionable. How low do I need to go before there’s no consequences? Speaker? Senator? Mayor? Wife?
I always thought the proper term was “Bruncle”
Threatened to shoot people if the didn’t sell them a gun? How? The gun was still behind the counter. Imagine the carnage if one of these drunks actually got their hands on a gun.
TPM is beginning to read like one of those small town papers where stories include the mystery of Grandma Jane’s lost cat Fluffy.
It is not. Depending on the state, they have different words for it. Here in Texas, it is called a terroristic threat and it is a level three felony. My sister’s ex got expelled from college for making just such a threat, but he got the charge tossed in exchange for a guilty plea on a stalking/harassment charge.
He is now a teacher.
I’m still disappointed by the lack of follow up on that particular story. I mean, did Grandma Jane ever find fluffy?
Walmartians are known for their…um…uniqueness?
My God! It would be like not being allowed to use the PortaPotty at the State Fair.
I’ve spent the better part of the last 30+ years trying to get banned from WalMart. Maybe if took a dump in front of the frozen turkeys…
Tried it already…didn’t work…
More reason to avoid Walmart.
Then the police shot him dead.
Oops, my bad. He was white.
No harm, no foul. No need to get the LEOs involved. Just another upstanding citizen exercising his Second Amendment rights.
Actually, if you do it at Walmart, it’s a federal crime:

I doubt that anyone called the FBI though.
