YOW! They’re pulling the plug on her!
One thing about the 1% - they know when to cut their losses.
Shouldn’t that be “republican leaning Rasmussen”?
I haven’t really seen that, at least in politics - they seem to double down and try to buy their way out - See Adelson/Gingrich 2012.
I can only imagine how bad her actual numbers look if they’re cutting her loose over the kind of money they find in the seat of their Bentley.
Give it a little time, this hydra has many heads - it could just turn into a lot of 75-150k buys from groups with less well known names.
I would hate to think this anti-women’s rights conservative could replace Carl Levin. Just don’t think Michigan is going to make that mistake this time around. I think there’s enough anti-Snyder sentiment that will drive people to the polls in November.
Except when they don’t, and keep throwing worse money after bad. I’d welcome them flushing more millions.
Shoot. I was hoping they’d waste a bit more money on the Michigan Senate. This race was always going to revert to the Dem.
Maybe they need it to shore up Roberts and Brownback in KS.
Rasmussen- Roberts Up 44-40 Over Dem Taylor
Damn…I was hoping they would keep spending millions on losers.
The Koch brothers probably want to make sure NBC doesn’t dump David Gregory.
We’re a center-right nation (obviously, idiot), so the bias of a pollster only needs to be pointed out if it leans anti-American (i.e., Democratic).
At least that’s how I assume the thinking goes at TPM based on, you know, reading TPM.
Exactly. For years now, these supposed business geniuses have shown every sign of subscribing to the sunk cost fallacy when it comes to dumping money into races, no matter how lost the cause.
But, come to think of it, they seem to have scaled way back on the “Call Kay Hagan and Tell Her to Stop Being a Big Red America Hating Commie!” commercials hereabouts, too. Almost as if they figured out that their money could beat her numbers down but, once she was actually running against the Speaker of the House of the most despised General Assembly in recent history, there was a floor that they couldn’t drive them below with any amount of money.
