Discussion for article #235857

What are the chances God tells Kasich his role in life is changing tires down at the local Firestone store?

Why do Jindal and Haley hate Jesus so much? Is Jindal a hidden Hindu? Is Haley a secret Sikh? I’m not saying they are. I’m just saying someone might ask those questions.

Oh, that’s rich! Kasich will have to pull a live serpent from his pocket and handle it to scrape this one off.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich ® was criticized by Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal ® and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley ® for “hiding behind Jesus to expand Medicaid” according to a report in The Atlantic.

Yeah, doesn’t Kasich get that it is only okay to hide behind Jesus on subjects he never addressed like gays and abortion? But trying to use him to justify helping the poor, just because he was constantly talking about helping the poor? That’s just dirty pool.

Yeah! Yeah! Not to mention healing sick people! When did Jesus ever show an interest in that???

Jesus is used when He is a convenient tool. Helping the poor and Jesus never go together among a certain branch of “Christians”.

Yet another litmus test for GOP candidates. Not only do they have to pay homage to Grover Norquist and always pledge to reduce taxes on the wealthy by shifting the burden of running civilization onto the poor, and having to declare they disapprove of homosexuality and gay marriage, now they have to prove they are on friendlier terms with God than the next GOP contestant.

Makes one wonder how could they ever possibly stand up to the intense pressure of making a difficult decision that the Presidency would almost certainly require.

If Kasich just came out and said that he did it because its the right thing to do and because people really do need affordable health care and that he actually cares about his constituents then Jindal and the other anti-humanity Govs would’ve eviscerated him. They too would then be on the spot to show concern and genuine care.

Of course Kasich surely did it for purely political reasons and for the free BIG Government money. So, even though he went with the old stand by, Jesus, he still gets burned. What’s a phony conservative to do these days, really?

He must have a problem making his own decisions if he’s waiting for god to instruct him.
