Kudos, and perhaps a Pulitzer nomination to the author of the original article for the use of colorful, if not entirely accurate, descriptors

P.S. According to the article, Bro Jim is one odd and whacked up fellow.
Adversaries say he has woven a liquor-infused tapestry of fear colored by intimidation, abuse and lies. The saga features stalking, death threats, trespassing, drive-by gunfire, massive explosions, cattle theft, loan defaults, hit-and-run driving and marital strife. Linn County Sheriff’s Department files bulge with complaints about him.

Locals aware of the dynamics shake their head in dismay. In a place where people honor the Second Amendment and revere the self-defense castle doctrine, there is astonishment no one has been gunned down.

“Second Amendment remedies” include the right to terrorize neighbors. Otherwise these guns would just be sitting there not remedying anything.

If it’s all the same to you, I’d rather not cripple the nation’s food supply.
They “euthanized” their neighbor’s dog? So, what, did they take it to the vet and say “hey, please put down this dog that belongs to our neighbors?” Or is that what they call “shot” in Kansas. Must make the local news on the TV more genteel. “A suspect was euthanized after a shootout with police.” “Police were called to a domestic disturbance where Wayne Lee Raygun was charged with euthanizing his wife.”

The fact the police says the Brownback brother is walking the line of justice, proves they are only focused in NOT finding any wrong doing!
I strongly suggest that all surrounding neighbors mount cameras to monitor your premises. To catch a criminal in action these days, you’ve got to record it!
