âAs an African-American, like so many of my peers, I am concerned about police brutality, the lack of economic and educational opportunities for our urban cities, and the complete disregard for criminal justice reform,â he wrote. âHearing the nominee of my party ignore these harsh truths and opt for words like âlaw and orderâ sounds like a coded message from an era in our history that should stay in the past.â
Damning words. He may just as well have written: âGiven the opportunity I will kill the Donald J. Trump!â
Then again, thatâs what he gets for being a Rethugliklan â lynched, figuratively speaking.
If HUD reportedly told him the anti-Trump writing wasnât the cause for his dismissal, then this articleâs title needs to be rewritten.
No surprise, not remotely.
Is this even news??
Is there anyone who would NOT have fired him? How about his inapposite regret at being caught â is anybody moved by that empty surplusage?
I guess that this wasnât the guy that Chiselinâ Trump referred to as âmy African-American.â
It says in the article:
Singleton answered questions about the piece and expressed remorse for it, the Times said, but when he was fired on Wednesday, HUD officials reportedly told him it was the reason for his termination.
Clueless masochist finds abusive people to abuse him. Story at 11.
Man, Trump should not fire one of very few blacks willing to work for him.
Black Republicans- ya gotta wonder. Just sayinâ.
Iâm surprised he was just fired. When the Trump regime is more firmly ensconced, people like him will be disappeared to black sites and waterboarded to find out who else shares his views.
Black Republicans = Log Cabin Republicans
Some humans seem to have a bizarre compulsion to seek the company of those who hate them.
and expressed remorse for it,
Thatâs the most pathetic aspect of this situationâthe craven self-abnegation simply to get a job working for people who hate you.
The contrast with those who willingly put their very lives on the line in the struggle for basic civil rights in the South is stark.
Heâs lucky it happened now and not later, when the spray-tanned fart-ballon moves to having people torn apart by dogs like Kim Jong Un does to people who say bad things about him. Yeah, I know itâs FoxâŚ
âA Republican asks: Arenât we morally obliged to stand up to Trump?â
Asking Republicans to acknowledge moral obligation.
Thatâs just adorable!
Jeepers, he had to ââŚexpress(ed) remorse for itâ !
Way to bring everybody together, Cheetolini!
Mr. Singleton is a very bright man and he is young enough to understand that he will have to reassess his political beliefs. Cause the GoP donât like strong, smart and articulate Black man amongst their mist. His opinion of Trump was and is, virtually the TRUTH! And I for one, thank him for being critically honest about his political candidate.
Sounds like the title of this article just as easily could have been: Black Republican Discovers Why Most African-Americans Vote Democratic.
If you are gay, black, hispanic or female and you are republican - you are a self hating know-nothing with your head in the sand and a willing co-conspirator with the rightâs attack on democracy.
Period.
What a thin-skinned individual. I guess we should be surprised since tRump needs to bring is personal cheering section with him to meetings.
You didnât leave the Republican Party, the Republican Party left you. Welcome to the Democratic Party.
âSingleton answered questions about the piece and expressed remorse for it,.â
I think Mr. Singleton may have a well paying and prestigious future job as a caddy at one of Trumpâs golf courses.
