Discussion: Report: Hackers Targeted Dem Opponent Of Putin Darling Rep. Rohrabacher

Rohrbacher probably called Putin and asked him for election meddling.

Good for him for going public with the attack.

But really, if we were going to take a wild guess about whose campaign Putin would want to help, it would be Rohrabacher.

Like Kenin McCarthy said, there are two guys he thinks are on Russia’s payroll…

Remember when the Repubs expressed hatred of the evil, corrupt Russians (USSR) as godless, pinko Communist oligarchs and tarred those who did not exhibit sufficient contempt for them? Now that the Russian leadership and oligarchy is out of control, godless, evil, corrupt capitalism, what do we hear from the Repubs? Crickets…

I have heard a lot of Republicans mouthing the notion that there is nothing wrong with Russians playing in our elections. i find them disgusting.

My wonder is what is going to happen in Florida this fall. it’s computers are so easy to hack an 11 year old broke into an identical machine just the other day.

Rohrabacher (R-CA)… The “R” is for Russian.

My brother was casual friends with Rohrabacher back in their beach bum days (well, my brother was a CA state lifeguard). Dana was an idiot back then too.

Or we even hear them saying they’d rather be a Russian than a Democrat. It’s despicable and it’s treason.

Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.): "There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump.”

Paul Ryan (R-Cheeseheadland): “This is an off the record . . . No leaks! . . . All right?”

Meanwhile back in DC, Dumbass Donnie is finding all kinds of ways of pissing on a defense authorization bill he signed into law Monday, by issuing a signing statement that enables Putin to claim Crimea as their own, because tRump believes otherwise it will interfere with military-to-military cooperation. What military-to-military cooperation is he talking about? WTF.

This is more proof positive that tRump Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kremlin and is still beholden to Putin.

Rohrabacher‘s career goes back to when he was an aide on the 1966 Reagan gubernatorial campaign. Ah what would Ronnie say about him being a Russian tool.

Rohrbacher is a traitorous schmuck who belongs in prison, not on a ballot.

I’ve always wondered who leaked it. You have to admire the irony, but it’s not really that surprising since the Republicans operate as Sithlords/Nashian automatons. They fight for their own individual gains, willfully backstabbing their “allies” when they believe it serves their own interests.

Maybe Russian “advisers” will help plan Trump’s Big Parade of Military Strength.

More proof of conspiracy - another Trump payoff to Putin that doesn’t benefit the US or it’s allies.

It’s funny how we haven’t heard a single hacking incident from a Republican yet, nor had any of the hacked RNC documents show up in public. If it’s not an actual conspiracy, that’s enough reason to turn Republicans out of office…a foreign government is attempting to cheat to get them elected, which can only mean bad things for America.

How is it possible that this continues to be the case across the country and we continue to discuss it as if it is happening in some other country? How is this not the biggest f**king deal out there less than 100 days from a very important election?

I continue to feel like I slipped into an alternate universe about 2 years ago.

Me too. Just keep in mind that the main stream press, all of it, is controlled by very conservative business interests who are only interested in maintaining power while making money. Most state governments are controlled by Republicans who have an undeniable interest in cheating. The powers that be welcome Russian hacking as long as it benefits them.

The WWII generation Republicans who got rid of Nixon don’t exist. Those folks were patriots through and through. They all passed away. The policy differences they had with Democrats were policy differences. They used to compromise with each other on a regular basis. For modern Republicans it is all about maintaining Republican power. We feel like a country that is on the verge of collapse from within.

I wonder how the repugs would feel if China decided to help out the Democratic party?
