Discussion: Report: George W. Bush Will Not Make Another Primary Endorsement

Discussion for article #247107

Good job, GOP. Even the worst president of the last century can’t find anything nice to say about your remaining candidates.

“He and Mrs. Bush voted early in Texas for Jeb. Now, like a lot of voters, they are watching to see who can unite the party, represent conservative values and serve as president of all the people," an aide told Politico.

Well, not quite all the people. Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, atheists, LGBT, feminists, academics, scientists, Jews favoring a Palestinian homeland, environmentalists, conservationists, alternative energy advocates, voting rights proponents, Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, unions, public school teachers and those favoring strong product/food safety regulations can all go to hell.

GWB hasn’t been instructed by Cheney about what to do…

Drumpf: Little Marco is very disappointed. Endorsement from Dubya would have pushed him to 5th place, a win in Marco’s eyes.

Maybe I’m being a little picky, but this:

After the failed campaign of his brother, former President George W. Bush will not make another endorsement in the presidential primary, according to a Tuesday night report from Politico.

is not this:

While I would never rule anything out, he definitely doesn’t have any plans to make an endorsement," the aide told Politico.

Emphasis mine.

OK then, back to the tub. Try not to think about what you did, compared to what you could have done. Pop another Ambien.

Honestly? GWB should never be allowed to use a TV remote control again.

A lot of people were looking for that from 2001-2008.

What was that sound I just heard? The sigh of relief by the GOP.

No more W endorsements!

…since, it worked so well for jeb!

Regan and his father were just as bad.

The homeschooling conducted by Cheney ended in 2009.

George Bush the Dumb Torturer’s endorsement would be the kiss of death for the lucky campaign that got it

Seriously. When they needed someone to head up their anti-trump rally, the best formerly important Republican they could find was still Romney. That’s just sad on it’s own, but it did make me wonder (and laugh)… where’s W been?
