In the same week I have found myself agreeing with W and Cheney. Cheney(!), for the dogâs sake! We are living in strange times.
That coming from the President who introduced the Thread of the Axis of Evil in his first major speech after 911. I remember watching the speech and gasping out loud: âHeâs going to go to war in Iraq.â That was before the invasion of Afghanistan. Never forget.

Donât know if Iâd ever go that far, but I will say that it has always amazed me how likable he can manage to be at times despite being an historically giant asshole.

For all we know, W. was wearing Depends and took a dump in the middle of the inauguration,and was merely referring to his bowel movement.
I am not convinced he even fully grasps what a âTwitterâ is yet.
I think he takes after his mother and wonât give a flying fuck and, if it gets bad enough to require a response, will come up with something knee-capping and pithy.

SO and I suffered through a lunch in Sedona, AZ where the ladies (from somewhere South) at the next table were gushing about how sweet it was how much GW loved his âdaddy.â Only good manners kept me from throttling them while yelling about wars based on lies, lies, and more lies. Apparently a war is nothing compared to filial piety as exhibited by a âsweetâ painting of said daddy.
Dubya has taken years of criticism and drubbing from the left (all the way through his presidency) and the right (the last year of his presidency). I honestly donât think he would care.
