An unnamed person familiar with the talks between Mueller’s team and Tom Green, a defense attorney new to Gates’ team, told the Times that Gates could expect “a substantial reduction in his sentence” for cooperating fully with the investigation, adding that Gates “understands that the government may move to reduce his sentence if he substantially cooperates – but it won’t be spelled out.”

Instead of golfing this weekend in Florida, President Trump has remained mostly indoors at Mar-a-Lago watching television and getting riled up by his sons Eric and Donald Jr., according to a person familiar with his weekend activities.
I wasn’t sure if things could get uglier than before but I was apparently wrong.

They already had enough to put Manafort away. My guess is Gates will give them more on Manafort but the biggest “get” will be what he has to say about Trump and those in his orbit. That is what will get Gates a reduced sentence. Gates was in the campaign, transition and the WH. He has plenty of dirt and he is obviously shoveling it Muellers way.
Gates flipping, Mueller indictments, getting yelled at by a bunch of smart kids and being unable to respond, Porter scandal dragging on, and worst of all, couldn’t golf. Other than that, how was your weekend, Mr. Trump? Explains the desperation in the tweets.
