Discussion for article #246791
Does Fox control the GOP or does the GOP control Fox?
Why is a conversation like this coming from the head of a ‘news’ organization. I know why: it’s a rhetorical question. Real news organizations should not be in the business of getting behind a particular candidate or party.
Shorter: “Rubio does not make me money. There are others who make make me boatloads.”
Yes.
Ut oh…the king maker has spoken. The wooden puppet’s time is over.
This one decision by Roger Ailes is going to doom Rubio’s campaign. Ditch McConnell, the Kochheads and the vampire squid should pull their funding.
Wow, Roger, you’re really on the ball.
You know – fair and balanced.
Ailes trashes little Marco for not being able to clean up the mess (Trump) Ailes/Fox made.
It has come to this that the head of a “news” organization can declare that he is, essentially, against a candidate in something not labelled an editorial?
Mess with the fat man behind the Fox curtain at your own peril.
They’ve been anti-Democrat since their inception. So…I think you’re a bit behind the times on that complaints there.
First there’s this story:
After Politico reporter Marc Caputo tweeted quotes from an anonymous Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) staffer calling Fox News’ Sean Hannity a “fucking asshole,” the conservative pundit took to Twitter to hurl insults at the journalist.
Then there’s this:
“We’re finished with Rubio,” Ailes allegedly told an unnamed Fox host, according to the report. “We can’t do the Rubio thing anymore.”
What’s a fair & balanced network do?
Report: Fox Chief Ailes Tellers Host: “We Can’t Do The Rubio Thing Anymore.”
“Tellers”? Is that a new verb?
Duh. But Rubio ain’t a Democrat and to make a public statement like Ailes did is out of character for Fox, which would usually employ nakedly biased “news” stories or talk show denunciations to do in a candidate.
I mean unless Boobio suddenly stages a comeback…
or Rupert tells me otherwise…
Fair and balanced. lolololololololololololol
