Wow. That’s a name from the past. According to my database, Doolittle was so crooked when he was in Congress that he had to screw his pants on in the morning. He quit after his main sugar daddy, sensing a potential scandal on the horizon, announced he was throwing Doolittle under the bus.
Doolittle’s reasoning makes no sense. Using your own money is not a crime? How about if I use my own money to hire a hit man to blow your brains out, John? Bet you think THAT’S a crime.
