Discussion: Report: Flynn Said He Was In Touch With Russian Ambassador During Campaign

Sad…carrots to a foreign country–and an adversary at best–during a presidential campaign is a pathetic betrayal of the honor and integrity required in a military career.

That’s one short step away from Donald Trump’s doorstep. Mueller is at the door, Donald. He may even be in the room by now for all we know!

What did the Trump campaign and/or its associates get in return for the assurances that Flynn was providing to Kislyak on matters where Kislyak was unlikely to get a favorable hearing from the Obama Administration or an incoming Clinton Administration?

This brings to mind Reagan’s back-channel communications with Iran during the last part of Carter’s presidency. What remains to be seen is who Flynn was briefing on this, and what sorts of quid pro quo were discussed.

"See? My campaign didn’t collude with a foreign Government… a Member of my campaign colluded with a Member of a foriegn government.

DC Toilet Paper Sales Skyrocket, Laundromat Profits Soar

Considering Flynn met with DOJ investigators 19 times, earning a glowing pre-sentencing report (which recommended no jail time) that came with everything shy of a blue ribbon and trophy, I suspect the OSC is in a lot of people’s “rooms.”

Everyone’s getting caught and pointing back at Donald!

Donald may be deleting these tweets once he reads, er I mean, someone tells him what Flynn told them.

I thought the Dotard’s downfall was all wrapped up in his illegal payments of hush-money to Daniels and McDougal. Now, it seems his downfall will be his and his subordinates contacts with an adversary in exchange for illegal assistance getting elected. Toss in Butina’s activities with the NRA, all geared to gin up support for T rumpp in that last election, and it seems to me like there really is no part of that last election’s outcomes that was legitimate. Has there ever been a sitting US President who has placed himself in such legal jeopardy by virtue of his own criminal behaviors both before and after he was elected to office?

Shit like that doesn’t happen without Individual-1’s knowledge and approval.

This is no honorable military officer, this is a traitor. What would men that served under him have to say about him?

And now for something completely unhinged…

Is she telling that she is deeply in love with Trump and “gonna stand by her man”?

Well as we have seen, with Generals Kelly, McMaster and Flynn, honor and integrity are not required in order to get to the higher ranks. They have been proven to be liars, cowards and traitors.

Moscow would work with the Trump administration to end the Syrian civil war in exchange for an end to U.S. sanctions against Russia

It's all about the sanctions. Obviously a lot of important, rich Russians were put in a bad financial position via their imposition. And it's an open secret Trump was going to make them go away if he was elected. He certainly made explicit promises through emissaries he would do so. Then the plot was exposed, and lifting them was akin to the light going on in the kitchen with your arm elbow deep in the cookie jar.

Did the envoy warn him that this meeting was illegal?

Similar to what Nixon did in trying to thwart Johnson’s Peace pact by telling Viet Nam, “Don’t do anything until after the election, because we’ll give you a better deal.” It got Nixon in hot water, so Flynn learned nothing. I don’t care what the recommendation was for jail time, Flynn needs to spend some quality time in the gated community.

Is she saying this on Hannity’s self-promoting, money making show?

This seems like a very big deal.
