Report: FBI Director Wray Told WH That Nunes Memo Contains Inaccuracies

Doesn’t matter in the slightest to this lawless administration. The Trump cartel is clearly all about propaganda and poisoning public opinion.

Binders full of inaccuracies.

Since the DOJ and the FBI are enemies of the people why does their counsel mean anything?

One more part of the “pattern” that Mueller is establishing on obstruction of justice charges.

Of course it contains inaccuracies. That’s why it was written, to propagate a lie.

To put it more legalistically: evidence of a corrupt continuity of purpose.

That’s a feature, Mr. Wray, not a bug.

Trump is establishing an obstruction charge.

I hope it’s released, shown for what it is: a whole bunch of huffing and puffing over nothing. I also want to see the intelligence community get even more pissed at Donald. Take a lot of wind out of his sails as well as making it clear to the FBI these Congressional Republicans are not their friends.

The abject failure to answer their pledge to the Constitution of the Republican Congress is the Real story here. corruption and greed. and hate powers the Republicans . and their racist supremacist supporters they are not Americans plain and simple. it is up to the United States citizens alone to Vote! WaPo (April 11, 2017):

"Three years before Page became an adviser to the Trump campaign, he came to the attention of FBI counterintelligence agents, who learned that Russian spy suspects had sought to use Page as a source for information.

In that case, one of the Russian suspects, Victor Podobnyy — who was posing as a diplomat and was later charged by federal prosecutors with acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign government — was captured on tape in 2013 discussing an effort to get information and documents from Page. That discussion was detailed in a federal complaint filed against Podobnyy and two others. The court documents in that spy case only identify Page as “Male 1.’’ Officials familiar with the case said that “Male 1’’ is Page.

2013.

How many years was that before Steele ever started working on a “dossier”?

For anyone?

I guess he borrowed the time machine from President Obama.

The one he used to go back and place that fake birth announcement in the Hawaiian newspaper.

These FBI/DeepState/Clinton/Obama/UraniumOne/CometPingPong/VinceFoster conspirators are good…

I have a feeling these Republicans are up to no good.

My guess, and it is just a guess, is that saying it contains inaccuracies is being kind.

According to an unnamed person familiar with the matter, Wray told the White House that the memo “contains inaccurate information and paints a false narrative,” according to Bloomberg.

WH: Yes, that’s the point.

Wow! Just wow!

So much for the party of law and order.

Trump appointed Wray. I thought that meant he was part of the Trump “family,” a “Man of Honor” who swore a blood oath to the President.

I think Wray might be next on the Trump hit list.

This is not really a reply to your comment, but I can’t figure out how to post. Anyhow, in the arena of distraction R’s are attacking the FBI for being corrupt. What if there are elements in the FBI that actually ARE corrupt, just not the ones the R’s are attacking. I’m wondering about rumors about the NYC FBI (allied with Guiliani?) in a sort of power battle with the DC FBI. From the Fusion GPS transcripts it’s not even clear if Comey even was aware of the info given to a couple of FBI agents in Italy. My gut tells me that this is all a major distraction away from some very real FBI malfeasance.
