Could we all show just a little class and stop making fat jokes about Chris Christie? More than a third of the country is obese and I’m willing to bet we wouldn’t be wandering around the office or grocery store calling people whales, or be happy if an obese family member were likely mocked.

I agree. It’s not as if it’s difficult to find substantive things about which to disparage him - there’s no need to go after his weight, over which I suspect he has very little control. I feel the same way about making fun of someone’s name - it’s a cheap shot and adds nothing.
