The man Trump nominated to head the Justice Department Civil Rights Division, John M. Gore, defended North Carolina’s right to discriminate against transgender people. He also defended in court discriminatory redistricting plans. And finally he defended Florida’s right to illegally purge voter rolls and initiate other forms of vote suppression. Everything Trump does, every person he puts in place, is solely for the purpose of saying “Fuck you!” to the dirty hippies.
