Basically an informal “Living Will”.

It did appear to be a “suicide by cop”. He could have killed a lot of people but did not. He just was looking to die and could not do it himself. And here I thought Tea Bagger’s didn’t want gubbermint assistance for anything. Taxpayer dollars (police salary) were wasted by him, he could have saved the Taxpayers money by just shooting himself.

When will the leaders of the White Community condemn this senseless White-on-White violence?
90% of all White People are killed by other White People.
It is their responsibility to “clean up their own communities”.

I still haven’t seen any actual evidence that McQuilliams was some sort of anti-government, anti-immigrant RWNJ, beyond some completely uninformed early speculation by the police. Apparently his FB posts don’t contain any of the usual nonsense.

One might argue that his targets reveal his motivation, but given that he didn’t kill anyone (and didn’t even seem to be trying to do so), it’s equally likely that he was just suicidal, and figured that shooting up some “official” buildings would be most likely to get him killed.

Anyone wanna bet they were Coleman camping stove gas? I mean, I’ll grant that they’d be dangerous and all, cuz you just never know with these RWNJ loonies, but I would not be surprised to find out the “authorities” ni TX were describing something that mundane as “suspicious cylinders.”

Valid points. No official writings have been found, though trying to burn down the Mexican consulate coupled with President Obama’s Exec Action are curious.

Acevedo’s comments came after he and the Federal Bureau of Investigations Special Agent in Charge Christopher Combs released new information about the incident which left 103 defects inside and outside the Austin Police Headquarters and similar destruction at the Federal Courthouse, Mexican Consulate building, and a downtown area bank.

Through the course of interviewing those who had contact with the shooter, the FBI said McQuilliams made cursory comments expressing frustration with his inability to land a job and he felt immigrants were given opportunities not afforded to him.

Acevedo said the book “Vigilantes of Christendom” was also found in the shooter’s van along with a note and bible verses indicating he planned on fighting “anti-God people.” Statements made in interviews also tied him to ultra-conservative groups with anti-Semitic, anti-homosexual, and anti-bi-racial families according to Acevedo.

“Terrorists come in all sorts of colors, ethnicities, and religions,” said Acevedo. “By no means can you call him anything other than an extremist.”

Well, it does appear he was a white trash type Tea Bagger. Glen Beck or Alex Jones fan. Birther, Truther, etc. An “I hate the gubbermint” loser. Thank goodness he took no one with him. In fact he helped out some local contractors who now have some repair work to do on the buildings. Plus a funeral home will get some biz.
