Make America (Not So) Great Again?

A top official on the National Security Council last year proposed withdrawing some U.S. forces from the Baltics in an effort to please Vladimir Putin, the Daily Beast reported Tuesday.

I just assumed it was PP.

Why does it seem like the whole Trump Badministration is handling foreign affairs like a game of “Risk”, played by drunken monkeys?

Of course this begs the question: why? Why do this? At that point it was known Putin ordered interference with an American election with hopes of aiding a Trump win. And Trump did win. But given all that was known in Feb. of 2017 why do this? In fact, why isn’t Trump leading the Rusian meddling thing? As far as I can see there’s only one answer that fits what was going on in early Feb 2017 and now and it’s not pretty.

I believe the technical term here is “surrender monkey.”

Republicans want to cut and run. Weak on defense.

So, check out the timeline. Trump takes office one year ago. He immediately sets in motion an initiative to abandon sanctions against Russia, which would have opened a financial spigot to Putin.

Around the same time, Putin sets in motion a major offensive military exercise targeting NATO.

What Trump wanted to do in 2017 was enrich and enable Putin’s war machine, while weakening our alliance with Europe through hostile rhetoric against Europe, and an actual weakening of military opposition to Putin in the area.

Trump and Putin plan long-term collaboration. It’s continuing today.

What is Kevin Harrington, a TV product and inventions shill and producer of the ABC TV series Shark Tank, with absolutely NO EXPERIENCE in foreign affairs, national security, nor diplomacy doing on the National Security Council.

I know, I know, competence and enlightenment are disqualifications for being a member of the Trump badministration, starting at the very top.

No Absolutely no lifting of sanctions. And no US Troop Draw Down. We are there as a deterrent to prevent Putin from invading and Anexing The Entire Ukraine…

The guy is still on the NSC for chrissakes. After Trump was declared President elect, the day Obama imposed the sanctions, Trump him fucking self was on television saying, telegraphing to Putin, that he thought Putin was a very smart man and would not take the bait of responding to sanctions with tit for tat sanctions, because (nod, wink) he knows his buddy Trump will be President soon and will reverse these sanctions. So Harrington was doing the logical extension of what the Trump Administration Plan was. Before Donald Trump began pretending he knew nothing about ANYTHING having to do with Russians and has never done anything with any Ruskies.

OT- but my least favorite politician just did something worthwhile yesterday, which Chuck Grassley has apparently agreed means the US Attorney for the SDNY Trump nominated is going to be blocked.

Trump has been played like a violin by Putin. His nativisitic and anti Palestinian instincts have lead him to marginalize the US from International relevance and allowed Putin to move in as the power player as he seeks another lock down sure thing term as kleptocrat in chief of Russia.
