I’ve been reading various reports on this for a half hour or so and they all conflict to some extent. All reports do indicate that Ammon has been arrested.

As people like myself and you have said all along. This was well played by Law Enforcement. Wait until they make complete asses of themselves, then arrest them. Plus they now have strong and documented cases, not just “trespassing”.
Hmm, wonder if we will see any comments from all those conspiracy nuts who said nothing would happen to these clowns. I suspect not. Or they will say “because of people like me, the FBI acted!!”.
EDIT: Reports say shots were fired, though it does not say by who. If these assholes fired first, they are looking at big time prison sentences. But it’s also possible Feds fired to get them to stop their vehicles, which I have no problem with either… Smart to bust them away from all the others too. Well played.

Well, there it is!
I’m still awaiting the latest developments now that i’m back in Portland. I was in Burns doing some “bird watching” with friends last Thursday and returned home Monday. The situation was very tense over there and as I posted earlier the authorities were handling this as they might handle a bunch of angry ten year old kids who were heavily armed and were doing their best to not make any furtive moves that might cause the situation to explode.

Let’s hope this is the beginning of the end of this stupidity however, based on what I saw, heard and my gut feeling coming from four days in Burns, it will not be.

The mistake Reno made was going in after them. Koresh was known to go into town a lot. Bust him there. This DOJ did it right. But I’d say Lynch and Comey are 100 times smarter than Reno was.
