And that’s the thing: money can certainly help a campaign but, in the end, if the voters won’t vote for you, it doesn’t really matter. It’s not the money that votes, it’s the constituents that vote. Or not.

This is really true … I don’t get cable and I’m no millenial. Neither do either of my millenial kids.
Adelson gets to influence our elections and foreign policy yet he has little regard for us, the country that allowed him to prosper.

I watch a lot of television, but skip the commercials. Thanks, Tivo! And yes, I’m sure some of the money is spent on other forms of advertising, but my thought is that most of it goes to television/radio commercials. Hence, “free speech.” Thanks, Chief Roberts!
