Of course you hope there was no shooting, but if there weren’t, there’s an even newer norm in this “open carry” BS. The whole uproar could well have been caused by some guy deciding it was a nice day so he’d help to dispel our irrational fear of weapons by walking around near a school with a rifle slung on his back. I’ve seen several people open-carrying pistols in my blue region of PA over the last couple of years. All the while, gun laws are getting looser. It’s truly irrational.

True, but we don’t report active baseball bat incidents because they’re rarely fatal, and never so in quantity.
I’d forgotten that I’d actually heard people call it “The Blessed Second.” Scary people.
Blessed, indeed. It’s a little-known fact that the Second Amendment was written on the back of the stone tablets that Moses brought down from the mountain.

My cousin’s kids go to this school. What an awful, awful morning this has been. And all because of a fuckin’ hoax and this country’s love affair with guns. SMDH
