On a tangential issue, I am not sure I am on board with newspapers making the decision when a race is over - they did that in a number of districts this year that later were reversed or became too close to call, causing confusion and adding to the conspiracy theories that votes which had not yet been counted were suddenly “appearing”.

Kim leads by about 3,500 with at most 9,000 ballots left to be counted, and two-thirds of them are from the county where Kim has a 60/40 advantage.
The odd thing is, the two counties just resumed counting today and haven’t reported any new numbers since last Friday. So the AP could have made this call five days ago.
Hopefully they call the cops and have him hauled out of his office come Jan 2. Push in out on the street with his shit.
