Discussion: Rep. Steve King: 'Anti-Semitism' And 'Liberalism'

Discussion for article #234552

Right. Because nothing smacks more in being anti-Semtic like being in a Jewish group.

Are we allowed to express violent ideation here? On many boards, you can’t. But I would like to.

Thank God someone has the guts to call out liberals on their blatant antisemitism.

I just wish he had addressed their racism as well.

I’ll take Steve King’s evaluation of my Jewishness over my rabbi’s and most Jewish organizations’ any day. Thanks for showing me I’m a bad Jew, Steve.

ETA: not just me, every Jew I know. We’re the worst. So bad it took a goy from Iowa to make me realize it.

Damn, the Republicans are so angry. Why, oh, why can’t people like King, Cotton, Boehner, McConnell, the blondies over at FOX Entertainment–and that brunette liar as well–why can’t these humans just fall down a well? … and we just cement over the hole … so, you know, none of us fall down there.

If only it were that easy.

If only we could find a Mohel to do a bris on King’s tongue

Republicans: Now more Catholic than the Pope, more Jewish than Jews.

I guess he hates anti-semitism because it draws away too much of the energy that should be aimed at Mexicans.

And unlike with Baby Jessica, we’ll not be going down into the well to save them.

“Democrats first and Jewish second,”

Or maybe, Rep. King, because they are Americans first?

No but seriously, Steve, I can’t speak for them all but my guess is that when the Jews want to be lectured at, spoken for, or given advice about Israel or any other subject by some ignorant racist cracker tea partying goyishe kop fuckwit from Iowa, they will be glad to let you know. Until then just shut your fucking hole, ummkay? Thanks so much.

“I don’t understand how Jews in America can be Democrats first and Jewish second.” Spoken like a true anti-Semite.

“Democrats first and Jewish second”

Actually, Representative King, I was Jewish first. And it was the values that the religion gave me (respect for learning, love of freedom, ethical behaviour, knowing what it is like to be a minority), the values I learned around the Seder table and from elders with a lifetime of experience with intolerance and narrow-mindedness, that helped turn me into a Democrat.

That’s why more than 2/3 of American Jews are Democrats - because we know what happens when dangerous demagogues like you preaching hatred and exclusion are allowed to take power.

The hectoring and lectures from a bigot like you about what it means to be Jewish has absolutely no relevance to the reality of our lives.

It’s the Dolchstosslegende. Any Jew can recognize it instantly.

I would like to email this asshole but need to be able to fill out his contact form - I’m not (thank dog) in his zipcode

I would say to them, ‘Name a country with which we have better relations today than we had when Barack Obama took office.’

Get out a map of the world. Tape it to the wall. Throw a dart blindfolded.

Winner! Winner! Chicken dinner!

Let’s hope for the sake of the country that they are Americans first, Democrats second and Jews who think Israel is more important than the U.S. 156th.

Iowa - Idiots out walking around.

Lie. I’ve done it before. Unfortunately, it landed me on Grumpy McCain’s e-mail list for two years.
