Discussion: Rep. Pete King Says College Students Protesting Trump's Win Are 'Morons' (AUDIO)

Bannon, on the other hand, has proposed offering extra money for any schools that provide extra spanking sessions.

Jeepers, doesn’t the public know that Pete King gets to decide which issues and policies are appropriate for protest? /s

King is right. It’s time to weaponize.

Trump is an enemy of the people. Pence is even worse, and Mitch McConnell/Paul Ryan is worse yet. Is there ANY depths to which any of them won’t sink?

It’s time to arm up, people.

There is only one moron in this story and none of the protestors are it.

What would Pete King say if they all dressed in plaid and cowboy hats and brought their Bushmasters with them to “occupy the courthouse” because they were not “represented in Congress!” and rallied under some “Don’t Tread On Me!” flags?.
Probably want them shot on sight.
Peter King can read which way the wind is blowing, and being the windsock-politician he is, he is going to come down on the fascist side to save his own skin.
After all, that is all that counts, to him.

Hitting King in the face with a shovel won’t do a goddamn thing, let me set you straight, his head is up his ass you must spade him in the ass to get at his brain, if he didn’t shit it out already. I acknowledge you are discussing this from a survival training martial arts skill building technique point of view not a call to action or threat. King should familiarize himself as spetsnaz get a huge chunk of training on using their shovels as weapons some of Putins sleepers that are currently RNC staff may use one on him.

Supporting a racist is being a moron!!!111

Never for a racist.

The Best Years of Our Lives covered a bit of that, especially the attitudes about returning vets.

Nothing changes, but we keep doing it anyway.

If there is a more venal and craven politician on Earth, I haven’t heard of him and that’s saying something. Peter King is odious and noxious - like a cloud of gas floating over an unsuspecting city. I am not shocked in any way that he would reneg on any supposed core values and now become a Trump lapdog, he has only ever cared about being powerful, not about using his power for any useful end.

Steve King calling anyone a moron is both laughable and sad.

Different “King” but cut from the same cloth. This idiot is a representative from Long Island, Steve King is from Iowa. L’il Petey is a brave supporter of the Provisional IRA, but can’t stand when U.S. citizens protest in this country. Nice double standard you got there, Petey. Now, go perform an otherwise physically impossible act on yourself, jackass. (Not you, dustbunny, I’m “talking” to Mr. King.)

Thank you Mr King. Always good to hear from one of Donald’s racist buddies (and sexual predator? )

He’s a thug, pure and simple.

:joy:

He’s my parent’s congressman, lives two blocks from them, used to be the lawyer for the school district, yelled at my mother years ago when she asked him a question about after school programs.

Parents don’t vote for him, but town is Republican.

That is correct. Pete King is yet ANOTHER predictable chickenhawk on the GOP sabre rattling wing, joining actual Draft Dodgers Donald Trump, Rudolph Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, Mitch McConnell and his partner in craziness and last name, Congressman Steve King.

Pete King graduated from St. Francis College in 1965, when the Vietnam War was going full bore. He attended Notre Dame Law School, graduating in 1968, when the Vietnam War was still going full bore. In 1968 he joined the 165th Infantry Regiment of the New York National Guard from which he was honorably discharged in 1977 following 9 years of paid cushy weekend service, tax payer funded meals and communing with fellow right wing armchair warriors.

However, his “Full Biography” as listed on his Congressional Office’s website lists among his memberships, AMVETS, and “The Fighting 69th Veterans Corps.” The closest Pete King ever got to “fighting” was when his National Guard Unit was, in the 70s “called to federal service” during a strike by employees of the US Postal Service.

Good to hear this asshole chime in about mental toughness needed during war, just like the cowardly asshole he helped elect President.
Sources are Wikipedia entry on Pete King, which was written by either hiimself or obvious admirers, and Pete King’s “full biography” on his Congressional website where he skillfully lists affiliations to imply he is a veteran of active and possibly combat service. Also Wikipedia on “the Fighting 69th” which last saw combat during WW2 at Okinawa.

The authoritarian contempt for the minority is so genuine…

How does this guy keep getting re-elected?

Hmm, so it’s OK to support terrorists in Northern Ireland for 20 years but people protesting because they fear for their safety and security are morons. OK then.
