Discussion for article #241027
Why, yes; yes it is.
You do realize that the crazies are all in your party, no?
Itâs your party and you can
cry if you want to,
cry if you want to,
cry if you want to.
But itâs all your and Foxâ fuckin fault!.
(With apologies to the late, great, Leslie Gore.)
When an IRA supporter calls you crazy, you are crazy!
ââA Victory For The Craziesââ Mr King you know of what you speak:
" Values Voter Crowd Goes Wild As Rubio Breaks News Of Boehnerâs Resignation"
House GOP: circular firing squad.
âand he will resign nextâŚâ
And that his party fostered the crazies via Fox News, Hannity, Limbaugh, etc. And by the failure of his party to address blatant racism.
Every single member of GOP in Congress is responsible for the lunatics taking over the asylum. The adults in the room could have denounced the craziness and squashed it early on, but nooooooo, they had to sit back and smirk as their campaign coffers filled up, which caused them to embrace it and allowed it to get out of hand.
They should have thought about this from the beginning.
He could always change his affiliation. The Democrats have a big tent.
Steve King could do something courageous- go rogue and side with the Democrats.
Iâm sure that is what the rest of the Bundestag was saying when Hitler was appointed Chancellor too.
âThose who refuse to learn from History are doomed to repeat it.â
Except that they are no longer in the majority or even hold a significant minority. I doubt more than 10% of Republicans now in the House or Senate give a flying fuck about good governance. They are mostly grifters of one ilk or another beholden to the obsession of less taxes on the wealthy and corporations, they donât really want to help Americans in trouble (not even white veterans) and they have no real understanding of what America is or what itâs place in the world should be. Most are not fit to hold office.
Iâve incorporated your observation into my Song for King.
King is a dick, but I suppose heâs one of the âgood dicksâ.
Peter King; master of the obvious
I donât think it was like that in 2008. Over time, it has become that way due to the relatively sane GOPers standing by and doing nothing about it.
Yup, but all it really means is a bunch of people concerned about conservative values or some such and willing to tank everything unless they get their way because 'Merica.
Peter King has said alot of crazy things over his time in Congress. I think what he meant to say is that the âreally crazyâ are now in charge of the asylum.
Or resign admitting abject opportunism and stupidity.
Someone should nominate Pete King for Speaker. I would make extra popcorn for that big olâ GFY to Ted Cruz.
