The next Dennis Hastert, folks…
Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. Guess he’s going to need to be spending more time with his family soon.
Not looking good for Jordan if there are former students testifying that they told him of the inappropriate behavior. I can’t imagine anyone I’d rather see having to face the music (other than Trump, Manafort, Jared, Pence, Ryan, the NRA . . . . . )
I hope there is some sort of public testimony in the investigation of Jordan’s negligence.
Funny thing is, this might have slipped under the radar if he hadn’t just been such a rampant jackass to Rosenstein the other day. Advice to other GOP monsters: if you have something to hide, don’t draw attention to yourself!
On second thought, forget the advice… rant away!
This is the tip of the iceberg. A lot of people are saying that Jordan’s culpability likely goes way beyond negligence.
This man is a professional dunce and many would contend ,a consummate liar. It would be great if there is a formal complaint or other physical evidence that exposes Jordan’s cowardice.
Ah, the Sergeant Schultz defense.
Protect the brand, from the JoePa play book.
Keep abuse alive and well in sports.
It may be fair to note that absolute ignorance is a kind of Republican specialty, and through years and years of practice, they are certainly very good at it.
Oi. I never did wot they said I did. I weren’t even there when it ‘appened. It was some bloke who looked like me, weren’t it. I ‘ad no idea wot woz up. The lads don’t tell me about nuthin’. It’s bleedin’ disrespectul that they don’t confide in me, like. But there it is.
OSU is conducting an investigation. They will make their findings public. I’d like to know if prosecutors will get involved and put Jordan under oath.
OT:
Presumably, OSU looked up Jordan’s contact info from Jordan’s own website. Why would Jordan claim no record of inquiries from the school?
A. The contact info on his website is wrong.
B. His staff routinely throws away incoming correspondence and lies about it.
C. OSU is lying.
D. Jordan is lying.
C’mon folks, I’m sure the honorable Mr. Jordan was strictly a Paterno figure to these lads…
I’ll take famous liars for 100 dollars, Alex.
The investigating law firm wants to talk to him but he doesn’t want to talk to them. For a big tough wrestler with a booming, macho voice he sure seems skittish about answering some questions.
Yep.
May I also add that lying and/or looking the other way to protect “the program” and turning a blind eye to egregiously damaging behavior - is exactly what we keep seeing to day from Jordan - his grilling of Rosentein and frequent attack appearances on Fox - completely consistent and analogous to what the former wrestlers are accusing him of doing.
I wonder if Jordan will hire Gohmert to represent him in his Sgt. Shultz defense?
