After the mid-terms in Nov. they have 2 full years to fill up with DOING NOTHING (they have already stated they will start the new session with ANOTHER vote against the ACA) and an “Impeachment Battle” would do nicely to gin up the base, stoke the donation machine, and land lots of nice soft-ball appearances on the Talk Shows where they can “rend their garments” over the “Lawlessness of Obama.” On top of all that, the lunatic wing will DEMAND they Impeach and it will rapidly become a litmus-test for ANYONE entering the Clown Show that the Republican Presidential Primary is sure to become.
You can bet your ass they will Impeach.

Of course they will impeach. They haven’t gotten over the Nixon debacle. Clinton’s impeachment was because they could and he was popular. Obama’s will be the same. They are the worst partisan hacks in the US.

At its most cynical, Impeachment only requires a 50% vote in the House of Representatives. And, again at its most cynical, a “High crime and misdemeanor” is whatever a majority says it is. And we already know that blow jobs constitute a ‘high crime and misdemeanor’ to a highly partisan Republican Congress. Obama is as good as Impeached.

This is a surprise? Since the day Obama was elected Rightwingers have made it no secret that their only goal is to impeach Obama. They tried for Nixon payback with Clinton but it failed. There’s a much better chance with Obama because of the underlying racism that has always driven them.

The only people who have been talking about it are Democrats and MSNBC. The same fools claimed the GOP would impeach Obama if they won the House in 2010.

Obama’s impeachment is a done deal since the Republicans have a lock on the House until 2022. The Republicans hate him so much that they will repeatedly vote out Articles of Impeachment. They do not care if they can’t get 67 Senators to convict and remove him.

The Republicans will not stop there. They will also impeach Biden and Ted Cruz has made it clear they will impeach Holder as well. I would not be surprised to see the Republicans in the House shut the government down and deliver an ultimatum to Obama and Biden that they would have to resign if the Government is to reopen.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Republicans also default on the debt as well.
