One of the most striking things about yesterday’s unhinged White House statement on Saudi Arabia is how weak it makes us look. Even if Kashoggi’s murder was ordered at the highest levels, we can’t do anything about it, because we need the Saudis for all kinds of things. (Or so the Trump Treason Administration argues.)
That’s not making America great. It’s making us into a goddamned vassal.
Quite an accomplishment, considering the vast power disparity between the USA and the KSA by any reasonable objective measure.
