Discussion: Rep. Chris Collins: We'll Explain Our Health Care Bill 'Once We Get It Done' (VIDEO)

Can’t wait to hear all the splainerin’ how Joe Sixpack has access to care but not actual coverage and Rich Uncle Pennybags is getting $50,000 in lower taxes.

The irony is the GOPers whined about democrats doing exactly this with the ACA.

Maybe, Mr. Collins, this is why people are reportedly 3:1 against this legislation. Get it? 3 out of every 4 voters is against this legislation. You and your peers face those same voters in just over 1.5 years. Angry voters. Frightened voters. Big reason? This bill.

Has a time been set for the vote to actually take place, or is this all smoke and mirrors?

…it’s a vote for Nancy Pelosi and maintaining Obamacare, which is failing, and will even get worse as we move forward."

They say these things completely without irony. They completely gloss over the fact that they (and only they) are responsible for the ACA “failing and getting worse”. If they had an interest in actually working for the people of America, instead of playing screw the Black President, we could actually have healthcare a first world nation could be proud of.

I don’t believe any of you liars will show your faces in public after the CBO scores the plan without EHBs. At least, not for a little while.

Sure, they’ll 'splain it…once they figure out what’s in it. After the vote.

It takes a special kind of stupid to create a bill that only has 17% approval. They couldn’t even create something their most rabid supporters like. That is some serious strategery on display right there.

This shows who will benefit most from from AHCA tax cuts:

A particular bit of insanity to highlight the general craziness: Remember that language that led to Burwell and a whole lot of angst with 5 million people’s insurance in the balance? That was in a law that went through a more or less normal writing process. Imagine what’s in this.

The comment calls to mind a remark from then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) during the months-long legislative process that led to the passage of the Affordable Care Act.

Data point #17 in support of the existence of CIDS (Conservative Irony Deficit Syndrome.)

If Collins doesn’t believe that his constituents will lose coverage and care, what will he do if his belief turns out to be wrong? I’m guessing he will blame the democrats.

“…it’s a vote for Nancy Pelosi and maintaining Obamacare, which is failing,”

They spew this like a mindless mantra whenever they are cornered.

When people fall back on “MEMES” for their defense you know they are lying to you.

This is the old Con Man Statement; “DON’T READ THAT! JUST SIGN IT!”

This is how grifters work, get you sign on the line no matter what, tell you ANYTHING to get you to sign, then cackle all the way to the bank once you do.

So … Republicans are passing, or at least voting on, the bill without having read it? And then saying they have to pass the bill before people can see what’s in it?

Seems I’ve heard Conservatives complain about those kind of things somewhere before …

Donald Trump’s populist supporters.

Yeah, these people are going to be real upset. For sure.

New York Republicans. They’re kinda like Illinois Nazis, only without the charm school diplomas.

Wiat.
Isn’t this similar to Pelosi saying “We’ll have to pass it so you can see what’s in it” comment?
The one where she was blasted by the right wing over and over again…???>?
