Sanchez is one of these Blew Dog right wing corporate toe sucking warmongering Democrats, nothing more than what we used to call a Republican, and so this aberrant behavior is to be expected. Should she gain Boxer’s Senate seat, the nation will take one more step backwards. I hope California has more sense than that.

If you saw the rest of the news feed you would have seen Sanchez running from a reporter who tried to ask her about the comment. It looked like something straight off a Saturday Night Live skit. I don’t know much about Sanchez but if the way she handled this situation is any indication she will make a great senator. She is both arrogant and stupid.

Anybody with even just a basic idea of American cultural literacy would know what “Indian American” meant, versus “American Indian”. What an idiot.

Here “apology” is as bad as the gaffe. No, Loretta, in the crazy excitement of a campaign one does not spontaneously degrade a group of Native Americans unless she has used that gesture more than once. Very childish behavior from craven, ambitious congress gritter.

Kamala Harris is the front runner for Boxer’s seat, and a foot in mouth moment at the beginning of a campaign with the usual “I’ve had so much to do” explanations by Sanchez will not change that.
No matter how dumb I think people are, someone always surpasses my thoughts…boy I must be dumber than they are…
Here in San Francisco (“49 square miles surrounded by reality”), Harris is what is currently called trending. She was our DA, was effective, put the bad guys away while opposing capital punishment. And you’ll see why the president called here the best looking AG in the country.

In addition to the stupid insult to Native Americans, she found a terrific way to let Indian Americans know that that haven’t registered on her radar to date.
