Scott Taylor had plausible deniability (it was just an overzealous campaign employee), but now looks like he’s jumped in the deep end with witness tampering and obstruction of justice. I hope he draws judge cranky in his trial but he’ll probably plead out with a resignation and no jail time.

That’s the “comment of the day” on this topic. It also reminds me that the current occupant of the WH isn’t the only villain in our political system right now - the GOP has been setting up for an illegal, unethical “President Trump” for a long time.
Trump is much more the symptom, the end state, than a cause. He is the natural conclusion of the right-wing war on fact, a war we have been fighting for at least two decades, and maybe more like four.
Are there any Republicans who can manage vocabulary beyond the level of, say, the third grade? Taylor tweeted that the “onerous” is on the VA SBE to verify signatures.
