The Catholic Church applauds the removal of the 2nd Commandment (which is attached to the other nine) because idols:

I think they should leave it in place, and then erect tablets with relevant scripture from the Koran, Talmud, Baghavad-gita, and every other religion around the world. That’ll make the wingnuts conflicted about “religious freedom.”

Isn’t Oklahoma one of those states that is so hot and bothered about “foreign law” in the US? And here they put a translation of a Bronze Age Hebrew law code on their state capital grounds? Ah, I forgot … it’s also one of those states where they think the Bible was written in English and only translated into Hebrew later.
The Satinists already showed up with their offering. That’s why this thing is leaving. The “Christians” knew who was going to own the First Amendment.
Perhaps they’ll replace it with a Second Amendment monument.

This is Oklahoma. The moment someone even mentions adding in passages from the Koran they would start screaming about “Sharia Law” and “Turrurists!”
