Whiny little 3rd Grade punk on the playground says: “She started it!” to the teacher.
“He’s a liar, and I don’t know if we should give any credence to anything the man says.”
Finally, somebody is speaking in terms everybody can understand. Thanks, Harry.
Somehow, I don’t think this is what the Founding Fathers had in mind…
Pro tip for politicians with no political experience: Don’t fuck with Harry Reid.
Harry “Give 'em hell!” Trum . . . Reid!
Reid on Trump: “What a liar…He is just such a phony. Here’s a man you can’t believe anything he says…the ability to lie like no one I’ve ever seen…He’s a liar, and I don’t know if we should give any credence to anything the man says.”
Corporate Media Response: “So it sounds like you’re suggesting that Hillary has a credibility problem.”
Right?! I’ve always thought him a bad ass, but today he’s just killing it. He needs to get out there more. Clinton and Dems need more surrogates willing to talk like this.
So is Harry Reid the only one going out and saying these things? I’ve been wondering where the Democratic surrogates are to say stuff like this.
Every day there’s articles about some Trump hack saying something or other while there’s only rarely anything from the Clinton side. Since I don’t watch cable news, I’m honestly curious if there are Democratic surrogates on TV pushing back against Trump’s farce de jour. It’s easy to say they just don’t report it because it’s not Trump but is that true?
So, once again, I’ll link the 60 minutes clip where low functioning people got the idea Hillary started the Muslim/birther question. Every clip cuts off at the exact same time. What they did was omit the last exchange Hillary and Kroft had on the subject. Here’s the full exchange with the part always they leave out:
CLINTON: Of course not. I mean, that’s–you know, there is not basis for that. You know, I take him on the basis of what he says. And, you know, there isn’t any reason to doubt that.
KROFT: And you said you’d take Senator Obama at his word that he’s not a Muslim.
CLINTON: Right. Right.
KROFT: You don’t believe that he’s a Muslim or implying? Right.
CLINTON: No. No. Why would I? No, there is nothing to base that on, as far as I know.
KROFT: It’s just scurrilous –
CLINTON: Look, I have been the target of so many ridiculous rumors. I have a great deal of sympathy for anybody who gets, you know, smeared with the kind of rumors that go on all the time.
The clip everyone references with the last exchange cut off:
“Hillary brought it up? What a liar. He never questioned the citizenship of anyone else running for president, no one else. He is just such a phony. Here’s a man you can’t believe anything he says,”
Well, that about sums it up Harry!
Andrea Mitchell would say…
“There is a cloud over the Clinton campaign. Harry Reid–in responding to Hillary Clinton’s supposed initiation of the President Obama birth-certificate controversy–has reverted to name calling of GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump. This after the long delayed return of Clinton to the campaign trail after a debilitating illness. How Clinton will cope with this latest setback is anyone’s guess.”
When Conway burst upon scene as Trump’s spokesperson, the MSM honchos were able to develop and run their strategy of the normalization of Trump.
Paul Manafort, while an astute political (albeit shady) operative, was in no position to normalize Trump for the millions of suburbanites who were wavering in getting behind the GOP Nominee. Conway, blond and blue eyed, was able to coo and purr (and dissemble), as though this was morning coffee.
Conway pumping Trump up
Mitchell tearing Clinton down
I’m beginning to think Trump’s current “lead” in the polls is the best thing that could happen for Hillary in these last few weeks of the campaign. All it took was an ethereal +1 in a mostly non-consequence national poll and Trump went right back to being Trump.
The only thing that humbled him was losing in the polls. As soon as he perceives dominance, it’s Nuclear-grade Asshole all over again.
Exactly. When he’s down, he tucks his tail between his legs and takes Kellyanne’s advice, but as soon as things are looking better he’s back downing cough syrup in mom’s minivan with Bannon.
Everything he said was great!..Until he started with the left-side poll skewing.
If he was asked about polls three weeks ago he’d be telling the interviewer about how HRC has an insurmountable lead in the polls and is up double digits in swing states.
This is a horrible statement by a lifelong politician. What is he thinking? He should be saying, look at the polls! People need to wake up and not let a con man fool them! Get out and tell your friends and family to register and fight back against this racist fraud who is a danger to our society!
Instead - oh, the polls are bullshit, he has no chance. What!?
Harry, when are you going to hit the road with that delivery? The LDS likes to believe they have a very high level of integrity. That’s all you’d have to focus on.
It was most apparent in his recent interview with Andersen Cooper. He’s starting to quote polls again; he thinks the negativity is working and that all he had to do was wait. I don’t really think he internalized the idea that it was the faux presidential miming he’s been doing for Kellyanne that was working for him. It’s apparent he LOATHES real work and holding himself back must be stifling.
That’s good. I can actually hear it in Andrea’s nasally and always slightly off-kilter deliver now.
Very shortly you will see a lot of Warren, Biden, Mrs. O tomorrow somewhere I think, and of course the president campaigning with her
My hair is on fire.
