Discussion for article #246467
Trump: Summary of my tax return has been available for a while. I will release a video which will summarize my tax returns going back to my birth year. I thank Reid for reminding us what a crook Romney is.
What a hoot! Romney issued info about his last tax return, manufactured to withstand scrutiny that previous returns would get. He refused to give any info about previous returns.
Whatta bunch of liars, cheats, and scoundrels!
And as Josh has pointed out, the idea that the RNC would allow Mittens, OF ALL GDAM people to issue that thinly veiled threat is astounding.
“He gave us a summary. He never gave us his tax returns.”
Rump will be reminding any and all who challenge him about this.
I can’t wait for Romney to start slamming Trump as an out of touch billionaire who cares more about the car elevator in his beach house than he does about the forty-seven percent mooching off Uncle Sam.
He could be followed by Rick Perry attacking Trump for being a pretty boy who didn’t understand the basics and had a crippling pain killer addiction, and then Dubya could finish up by attacking Trump for misleading the country for political gain and using jingoism as a substitute for foreign policy.
And then everyone’s head explodes and we realize life was a farce the whole time. The end.
Romney valued his private money concerns more than being president. I had the feeling he was doing it for his wife, but his heart wasn’t in it.
The GOP really is clueless, out of touch, brain dead, idiotic, nuts etc.
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS): We are with Trump on this. Romney owes us millions as he never paid us our customary cut.
EXCUSE ME?
Reid hammered Romney during the 2012 election, pushing him to release his tax returns and alleging that the former Massachusetts governor did not pay taxes for a decade. Reid’s allegation was eventually proven false.
They were NOT proven false. The only Romney tax “summaries” that were made available were for one year, and could be easily changed after the fact – Reid’s comments were NOT proven false. Let’s see Romney’s FINAL – as in not CHANGED tax forms. What a bunch of lying tools! But go ahead, Bernie-Bots! If your guy doesn’t win, stay home, or vote for Trump, Cruz, or Rubio. And get on FaceBook to declare how terrible it was that Hillary made it all happen.
If Bernie wins the nomination I will support him to the ends of the earth. Will you do the same if the only democrat in this contest wins?
Excellent. But we’d also have to see Sarah Palin chastising Trump for not being a policy wonk.
Romney the Gaffer is audacity personified!! What a dweeb!!
Yes, and for being a thin-skinned reality show troll who exploits their family for personal gain.
It really is difficult to attack Trump without also tearing down every other Republican politician for being an even worse version of the same thing. He’s just an amalgam of their worst traits. The only attack that works against him is that he’s not a True Conservative, but it doesn’t look like his supporters care about that much at all.
A truly omniscient point of view that is!
Amen CVilleDem.
What an unbelievable lie. Reid’s allegations were NEVER proven false. Way to call bs. Mittens got off easy on the whole tax return issue. I cannot believe Democrats and team Obama were not screaming for the release of his tax returns. I guess they figured they had it won but still, they should not have let Romney off the hook on this issue. This issue is the Sanders campaign in a nutshell - the system is rigged. I am sure Donald’s returns show little to no federal taxes being paid either.
EXCUSE ME?..Bernie-Bots? Your monomania is showing.
In hindsight, it was probably a mistake to stop installing updates on the Romneybot after the 2012 defeat, even if additional resources were needed to complete the Rubot project before the deadline.
EXCUSE ME? Your inability to realize reality is standing in the way between winning the Presidency and Congress.
Well, now.
You are supposing that if he released his tax returns that this would increase his chances of being President.
I think that we can conclude from his behavior that Romney realized that looking at his tax returns would scuttle his bid for the Oval Office. I think there are very, very good reasons we did not see them.
Hey Mitt – why not break open your piggy bank and run an ad?
