The margin is 12,562 for the Senate race and 33,684 for the Governor’s race, if anyone is interested. The Senate race might easily flip to Nelson if, indeed, there was a systemic problem in how the ballots were scanned in Broward county. The Governor’s race is less likely to flip, though.
I am pretty sure Scott won’t be satisfied unless he can personally inspect every Democratic vote.
For Trump to way in on these elections (he is also spreading his manure on the Arizona election), should be the 23rd reason to impeach his ass.
The universe owes us more than a few. Getting Nelson over the line via a recount would be a start.

Secretary Detzner “ordered” something that was already mandated by law…so…all he did here was not break the law?
The Florida loss was the biggest disappointment for me on election night. I would love for it to turn out that we won after all, at least for the senate. (I would, of course, be very happy for Gillum to have won the governorship, and admittedly narrowing the Republican margin in the senate is a mostly symbolic victory since they will run the show as if they have 75 Senators, no matter what.)
Someone needs to explain to people that “votes from nowhere” are usually votes from urban areas that take longer to count because there are so many people voting. And these late votes usually lean blue.
I’m sure Trump knows this and is just lying, as usual.
I’m heartened that Dems seem to have learned their lesson from 2000 and aren’t backing down from Republican bullying, specifically Mark Elias.

Preventing every vote from counting is an essential component of the GOP’s warped vision of MAGA.
The universe helps those who help themselves. Repeated misleading ballot layouts in Broward County is unforgiveable.
Let me translate; “Votes from nowhere” = “Votes from black people”.
