Doesn’t this fall under Grassley’s whistleblower passion? Speak up Mr Grassley!

The story of Reality Winner is interesting, yet we know so little. Much of it seems to remain beneath the surface. How could someone with such social media postings get and keep their clearance?

It’s also terrible how The Intercept burned her by posting the images of the printouts she supplied. This allowed the nearly invisible tracking dots to identify her printer.

The Intercept again. What a mother fucker Greenwald is. His ego has left a tragic wake of wasted lives. Snowden locked in horrid Moscow, Chelsea Manning lost 6 years of her life and now this woman is headed for a lock up. All to give that piece of shit Greenwald his “story”. And while this lady rots Glen will be drinking piña coladas on Copacabana beach.

Every time I see her name in a Trump headline I think they are talking about someone that won the apprentice!

I swear every time I read a headline with “Reality Winner” in it I think the wrong thing.

I do the same thing every time!

Same here, I’m hoping Donald pardons her because it confuses him too!
The judge’s sentence was in line with a plea agreement between Winner’s defense team and prosecutors, who recommended she serve five years and three months behind bars. Prosecutors said in a court filing that punishment would amount to “the longest sentence served by a federal defendant for an unauthorized disclosure to the media.”
Doesn’t sound like a very good deal

They don’t want more of that. And the prosecutors didn’t want to deal.

Yeah, but typically the point of a deal is to get a reduced sentence. Longest sentence ever for that particular crime doesn’t sound very reduced.

I’m thinking that if not for Reality Winner, we wouldn’t have heard about the attempted voter data intrusion by Russia. In essence, she declassified it.

I’m still allowed to hope that Trump and his criminal enterprise will face the same prosecutorial zeal when his turn in the docket arrives.

The systemic prediliction for punishing progressive transgressors as severely as possible is duly noted.

And anyone who says of climate change that it is a more critical issue than health care, "since not poisoning an entire population seems to be more in line with ‘health’ care, and not the disease care system that people voted for a soulless ginger orangutan to ‘fix.’” frankly has better standing before Bog (and me) than those who prosecuted her.

Reality Winner may have committed a crime in blowing this whistle but she has also earned the nation’s thanks both for her service and for the act that earned her punishment. This country was and is under attack and it was being hidden and soft-peddled, at least in part, to shield the rot of a political party from exposure.

Hey NSA, I am guilty of “thought crime” concerning this story.

Ask me if I feel sorry for Manafort, Cohen and Flynn.

‘President Warren’ - you’ve stolen my heart vH

That makes perfect sense. According to the Dotard, the Russians never hacked any computers here in the US anyway, so how could she have possibly leaked any information that suggested otherwise?
