I read the indictment. A combination of grand international scheming and petty fraud, that is, corrupt through and through. E.g., reminding the son-in-law to tell the mortgage company that he lived there with Manafort’s daughter in order to get a better interest rate, even though that was patently false. Once you get started down this road you forget you are even on it, lying comes so naturally.
