If this attempt to turn the tables were going to work for them with the non-base public I think it already would have. When Strzok told them all off it was like the “No sense of decency” moment in the Army-McCarthy hearings. The table-turners got the tables turned right back on them. They’re doing it because they can’t imagine anything that would work better.
The response to that, would be to show all the older quotes of Lindsay talking about drump.
Thanks, all I needed to know. Of course I’ll be using the Home Depot’s free cut bench saw, and who knows how sharp that’ll be. Hoping to build a raised bed garden planter.
That makes sense. They’re betting that no one on their side will care so it won’t matter. I guess what still galls me is that they act as though the PP presidency will last forever. Everything is about getting over today, in the near future, but nothing they do suggests they ever consider the long haul. Maybe they think Democrats just won’t do anything when they’re back in the WH. I know a lot of Democrats worry that will be the case. I just don’t see how that happens if the next Democratic president wants to be a two term president. I also don’t buy that people like Ticia James or the next US AG SDNY are happy to have brief careers that end in a couple of years. Or that the folks who follow them will be happy with the same. That just doesn’t make sense to me. Too many people have to be completely uninterested in having long careers for that plan to work.
Well, in Lindsay’s defense, he admits he didn’t read the full report so he can’t be responsible for accurately assessing its contents. But I guess he FEELS there was no collusion.
Meh. It boils down to “I wish you would just release the full report already”.
But let the shrieking continue, by all means…
Hey…that’s @tena 's line!
Use cedar instead, it’s less prone to rot.
Not sure I blame them.
Yep. I almost suspect that Graham basically agrees with Strozk and repeated this as much to remind the public of it as to express fake outrage over his alleged bias. He always always always plays it both ways (and no I’m not referring to his private life although well never mind that’s his business until it isn’t).
Every time he quotes a Trump hater saying how much they hate Trump and how stupid and loathsome he is, he is reminding the public just how stupid and loathsome he is. People are going to hear the accusations more than they will see the bias. Which, again, I suspect is Graham’s design. Sly devil. When this is over I guarantee that he’ll go all “I always loathed Mr. Trump” on us.
Ah, but I use the plural version, so I’m good. I think @tena uses the singular verison. But I’ll gladly pay her royalties on any profits coming my way.
True, but also a lot more expensive. Under $3 for a 2x4x8’ stud vs. $10 or more, and I need 11 pieces. I don’t need it to last more than a few years and will take precautions to retard the rotting effect.
Barr is discussing the letter and how he called Bob…
Hmmmmmm.
You are much more accurate of course. That said, I think people relate to catch and kill better, and despite significant differences, it is the same intermediary approach to important information.
Just the filter changes, it could be on “totally block&hold”, “spin” or “make chaotic to confuse”. Acquisition methods for the information might change, but that is pretty insignificant as compared to how it is released to the public.
Agree. A lot more expensive up front, but it will last a long time.
Wow, Barr is now saying that Mueller’s only complaint was that the press was mischaracterizing his work. Can’t wait for Mueller to respond to that!?!
If we owned the property, sure, but it’s a rental and we probably won’t be here more than a few years.
~2 min a cut vs 3-5 sec. I have a japanese pull saw that I used for years. Bought a circular saw when I was building our carport.
Whatever you call it, it’s not working. More like an interception on your own 20 yard line with foul after foul called on the defense.
