Discussion for article #229210
A. An obvious GOP poll.
B. Nothing provided about the crosstabs/skew.
C. Everyone knows how accurate GOP polls are. (sarcasm)
His campaign had to be rejoicing when the Dems said they were pulling out, now they are back in and he is running scared.
Romney’s internal polls had him leading too.
Well, I did my own internal poll and beleive it or not I am going to win mega millions and lotto this week. I guess I will know more come sunday morning when I check the numbers. Seems mcturtle will learn more come election day.
Isn’t this the way it works???
I want to be the mouse in mctutle’s house when he finds out he lost. He will be crushed and then he will know how strong smelling kentucky women really think of him. Not the paid for young wanna be get an intern job bimbo who has no clue to reality. lol lol
You can keep the poll Mitch. I’d rather have the cash. Spend it wisely Ms Grimes. The old boy is not happy.
My internal poll showed me winning too, so I guess we’ll be splitting that jackpot.
And we’ll be splitting it three ways but I’ll be cashing that Powerball ticket alone. I think because my polling tells me so. Seriously, when campaigns start releasing internal polling it’s typically not at all a good thing. It’s a way of saying, “Wait, stop, hold on…My opponent does NOT have any momentum. See, look, no momentum there.”
Why do I get an uncontrolable urge to yell “Romney Landslide”?
McConnell absolutely HAS to go! I live in a state that borders Kentucky so I get to see and hear the hysteria, but am frustrated since I can’t actually vote. If the senate does end up going GOP, Mitch McConnell cannot be there…C’mon Kentucky, please get rid of him…
Now, who didn’t see that coming from the McConnell camp. I think his words on the ACA is hurting him and people of Ky better realize that McConnell is a FRAUD and HYPOCRITE
As noted in the article, in this particular case the motivation for releasing internal polling is completely transparent. And its the best sign I have seen all campaign that McConnell is really sweating it.
I agree with the Grimes take and I doubt even Mitch suspects how much he is disliked among the rank and file Commonwealth poker faces of his own party.
Sounding like Eric Cantor now, Mitch? Go, Alison, Go.
The Grimes press release sums it up perfectly.
HA!
Is this the same “internal” polling that mittens used? His polling showed him up by about that amount on Election Day 2012.
"Internal"polling is not the same as winning an election!
And we all know just how good internal Republican polls are. President Romney can attest to their accuracy.
Release of an internal is a sign of a campaign that is in deep, deep shit. It’s just one step away from gamely pronouncing “the only poll that matters is the one in November!”
Turtle sounds like he is caught right on the yellow line in the middle of a desert road starring into the oncoming headlights.
That poll stands out about as much as Turtlehead’s goiter.
