Watched on CBS. 2nd commercial was for irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea. Sounds like they should have given it to Drumpf before he gave this liquid flatulence of a speech.

@ignoreland I remember past conservative marches on Washington which warned participants not to take the green line because that’s the one the blahs use. This is the fur coat crowd, not the hoverround crew; not a chance in hell that they’d take public transportation.

The hubris, ignorance and lack of class towards all of the incumbents and the outgoing President, First Lady and the VP are stunning. His presumptuousness of speaking about power returning to the people is stunning. There is an H.L. Mencken quote I can never find to the effect that in a democracy, people eventually find out who you (the politician or aspiring politician) really are. Most of us know who Donald Trump really is, but the Freudian slips and reveals of ignorance, lack of culture and class are going to be daily, 24/7. Pampered draft dodger who has never been accountable in his life.

Still do not understand why Trump is allowed to do all of his manufacturing outside the USA. With no rebuff from the media as he bullies other businesses that manufacture outside the USA.
Also, as a 70 yr old that has been a political junky since I was a early teen, this was the worst inaugural speech I have heard. No effort whatsoever to make the world a better place as he pushed his mean spirited campaign speeches. Anyone walking away from this speech feeling good is totally dillusional.
Why in the name of god would I want to read that POS when I already wasted 20 minutes listening to it?
It is not as if there is some deep insight I might have missed in the first telling…

Marco Werman of PRI’s The World interviewed a Latino Trump supporter who was not bothered by the absence of a Latinx in Trump’s cabinet and who touted the diversity of said cabinet in defiance of reality. A great many Americans need to (and will) learn the hard way.
@srfromgr Trump can’t even remember 1/2 of his daughters 90% of the time. Those “forgotten Americans” don’t have a shot in hell if they don’t have a money market account.
