I can’t remember the opening remarks of Kagan and Sotomayor, but these strike be as a bit odd. Kavanaugh is spending much of his time talking about personal things, naming the girls on his daughters’ basketball teams, talking about drinking beer at ball games, etc. I realize candidates try to share something of themselves, but this is more than I personally want to know. His voice is shaking a little as well Maybe that’s to be expected but it doesn’t match with his usual cocky behavior.
