Former back bencher, and now Brown Shirt in chief of Kansas, proves that the Peter Principle is doing fine as long as Fred C. Koch’s kids are alive.

And Rasmussen, to boot. Funny how a couple of weeks ago the NYT ran a poll showing Brownback 13 points ahead, and the GOP just winning everything. I guess they got a dud after they lost Nate Silver.

I guess someone heard they got their credit rating got cut again. Your tax cuts at work folks!

btw, lets hope for some similar love for NE now, the Dems have a really good candidate up there too. And he just got $100k from Buffett to help out too.

Again, don’t read anything into Brownback’s implosion that necessarily translates to other races. Brownback made an awful lot of enemies in the Kansas Republican Party when he stacked the legislature with TPers, cut funding for schools which is the third rail of Kansas politics, and strike three was several of his cronies being caught out in a bunch of shady deals that Brownback facilitated.

So you’re telling us that Kansas is a conservative wonderland?

What’s not to like about their guy then? Sounds like a microcosm of what America could be:
Flat broke, completely unable to collect taxes, low-performing schools, low-performing students, wealthy people get to keep whatever they deem to be theirs. You know, the conservative dream.
