Tweety said long ago that he thinks Senator Aqua Buddha will be the GOP nominee and obviously is invested in seeing that happens.

“There’s no sign presidential contender Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is letting
up on the foreign policy of his fellow GOPers, slamming on Friday
“knee-jerk reactionaries” who think that “war is always the answer.””

Well, THIS isn’t gonna endear Mr Paul to the repub base who love to wear camo and tote their pistols in cute holsters color coordinated with their outfits.

He is such a fraud. But I don’t get the angle. He definitely will not appeal to his base with this stuff and therefore the money he will need to win even a primary. I just smell a total fraud and I don’t believe a word of any of it.

It was enough for a chill to run up Tweety’ leg for sure

Oh, for crying out loud. Rand Paul is just a younger version of his father and will be no more successful than his father at winning the nomination.

Tweety is anything but consistent. He is one of the most conflicted people on TV. He changes like the wind. He also has a romantic view of how politics should be having worked for Patrick Moynahan? (Help me here - my old memory just left for a break)

Handball on the curb small, so small I could drink him under the table, literally, small, President of Smallia small, his official height is, wee, small.

You realize that the traditional “Paul” base is non-interventionist or isolationist? He is a fraud in many ways, but by being cautious about war he is appealing to his father’s base that he hopes to inherit.

I give Rand credit for bucking his GOP system a bit. His father Ron did the same. At least, they both are advocating stopping eternal war for profit. That is huge, were it to become policy. It won’t. The Wehrmacht will do everything possible to prevent peace.

Yes, the Paul base is very widely inclusive of anti-war voters like me. Even though I am more left than the worthless democrats anymore, to wit Obama, I support both Pauls in their advocacy for reduction of endless wars and putting those $trillions back into domestic investments. Both Pauls are interesting because they are different from the GOP in this major policy. I almost supported Ron Paul in the last election, but in the end, their domestic policies are still to far right. However, Obama is a horrible person and I wish I had not voted for him. I think the Pauls are more courageous and honest than Obama.

Ryand turned up the heat and the Repubs quickly cut funding for his heater. They no likey assistance.

So Paul, being a Libertarian phony and all, rubbed two gold bars together and, poof, all was good.

He also is taking a chance that most Repub candidates are overplaying a military interventionist approach to a war-weary nation. When (if) that becomes clear, he will stand out as the only principled candidate and possibly get their nomination. Better that than reverse his earlier positions and become just another “bomb them to the 7th century” idiot.

I believe Tweety worked for Tip O’Neil. At least he’s always yammering about Tip and the “Gipper” and how they could reach across the aisle and work with each other, ostensibly owing to the total awesomeness of their working class downhome awesomely Irishy, Irishsome Irish-Amercan background and heritage

“…our brand sucks…”

We know.

We’ve been saying it for 30 years. All the more reason not to vote for Paul. He’s out of touch with the times.

If Randal thinks he is going to get his party’s nomination by being the anti-war Republican, then he doesn’t understand much about “branding”. He won’t get any closer to the nomination than his father’s isolationist policies got him.

Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

The ONLY reason why the GOP is viable as a political party is because they have their own network that broadcasts pro-GOP propaganda 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Democrats have nothing in comparison. You could say MSNBC would be close but you’d be wrong. The fact that Joe Scarborough has such a prime spot is proof of that.
